Pump manufacturer Tsurumi Pump is to open a new in-house testing facility and said it will further enhance its ability to provide “reliable, customised solutions.”

The company said the move in the US will enable it to expand its customisation services and help its customers to keep projects on track and meet operational standards.

Humberto Ponce, product technician Tsurumi, said, “Soon, all our testing and conversions will be consolidated in a dedicated, fully equipped facility. This will streamline our processes and allow us to meet customer requirements even more efficiently.”

According to Tsurumi, the move will “address the growing needs of various industries,” with the company reporting an increase in the number of industries noting challenges in meeting new infrastructure requirements.

Ponce added, “Since the pandemic, work has been consistently growing. We prioritise maintaining stock levels and fulfilling customers’ needs, especially with custom work and specific requests, which are integral to our service offerings.

“One of the most common customisations involves connecting cables that can reach to 100ft or more. This is crucial for mining applications where the power supply is often distant from where the pumps need to operate.”
