United Rentals named one of world’s best companies

United Rentals has been named as one of the world’s best companies as part of the TIME World’s Best Companies 2023 list.

The company placed 190 on the list, which consists of 750 companies and is compiled by TIME magazine alongside data sepecialist Statista.

It takes factors such as sustainability, growth and employee satisfaction into consideration and covers sectors ranging from retail, engineering.

For sustainability United Rentals placed 492, while employee satisfaction was 98 on the list. The company’s growth rate was rated by TIME as “high”, the second highest rating possible. 

Matthew Flannery, chief executive officer, United Rentals, said, “The TIME World’s Best Companies recognition reflects how we are delivering on our commitment to building a better future together.

Earlier this year, United also made the list of the Top 100 Best Places to Work in 2023 as part of the Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award.
