Wacker Neuson takes on customer challenges
29 September 2015
Equipment manufacturer Wacker Neuson has introduced its new 6 to 10 t excavator range, which is said to offer fuel savings of 20% compared to previous models as well as a load sensing hydraulic system and increased all round visibility from the driver’s cab.
“The customer and his daily challenges are the focus of the design and development work at Wacker Neuson,” said Gert Reichetseder, managing director of Wacker Neuson Linz.
“This is clearly reflected in our new models of excavators. Technical innovations provide both a simple and intuitive operation of the machines as well as efficiency and profitability in application, especially in tight spaces.”
Wacker Nesuon added that with the new 6 t ET65 tracked excavator, the operator can work safely and accurately even in the tightest of spaces on the construction site, as the excavator is extremely compact and simultaneously maneuverable due to a low height of just 2.5 m and a width of less than 2 m.
It also has an optional articulated boom for more flexibility, extra reach, digging depth and dumping height.
The 10 t ET90 is said to be among the market leaders in terms of performance with excellent engine and hydraulic performance, even for demanding applications, such as road construction, the engine output and the excavation power of the excavator are sure to impress.
Also new in the 6 t range is the EW65 wheeled excavator. It is characterised by the infinitely variable drive system up to a maximum speed of 30 km/h in combination with compact dimensions.
Thanks to the street driving mode, there is no need use transport vehicles when changing job sites.
