World of Concrete opens in Las Vegas

World of Concrete 2022 has opened its doors at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Held Jan. 18-20 (with educational sessions held Jan. 17,) the annual masonry-focused event will have more than 1,060 exhibitors (up nearly 65% over 2021’s show) spanning the convention center’s west, north and central halls, as well as silver and diamond outdoor lots. 

The 2021 show, which had been postponed to June due to Covid-19 concerns, marked the first large trade show to use the new LVCC West Hall. 

With rising Omicron cases occuring worldwide, show organizers said WoC will “follow all local health guidelines, including Nevada’s mandate for masks to be worn in all public places, regardless of vaccination status. The rule applies indoors only, and includes all casinos, meeting spaces & convention centers, and restaurants/bars in Las Vegas and throughout Nevada.”

They went on to say, “Masking is an important tool to help provide a safer environment during this current surge of Omicron, and we appreciate all WoC 2022 participants complying with this state mandate for the benefit of all who enjoy coming to WoC this and every year. Additionally, we will have hand sanitizing stations throughout the venue, as well as an enhanced sanitation schedule, and widened aisles to promote social distancing.”

World of Concrete will take place January 18-20, 2022 at the Las Vegas Convention Center

Attendees will find a range of construction products and equipment on site spanning the LVCC’s grounds, with specific halls and locations serving dedicated sectors (see descriptions below.)
