Platform Basket enters India and surrounding region

Anirban P Ghosh, owner, Nexa Global Infra Solutions.

Platform Basket has appointed Nexa Global Infra Solutions as its sales agent for India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Bhutan.

Owned by Anirban P Ghosh, an experienced sales manager in the access and lifting equipment sector of 25 years, Nexa Global Infra Solutions was founded in 2023 and has its head office in India.

Ghosh has worked at JLG India for 11 years and Hilti for five years, looking after their railway, defense and seaport business.

A Platform Basket spokesperson said, “We warmly welcome Anirban and his cooperation to our group. Being in this sector for a long time, Anirban will bring his knowledge in assisting  customers and focus on our extensive product portfolio. We wish Anirban great success.”

The company will represent the complete Platform Basket range including its 13m to 43m working height spider portfolio, as well as the company’s rail mounted boom lifts and new Heron 10 vertical mast lift offering. 

Ghosh added, “I am excited to start this new relation with Platform Basket to represent them in India and (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) SAARC countries.

He added, “Platform Basket has developed a range of railroad boom lifts from 9m to 19m working height that will facilitate more efficient maintenance, inspection and repair work on the rail network in many countries. It provides us further product solutions for the ever growing urban rail transit system (metro) market in India.”
