First products roll out of Sinoboom Europe factory
08 June 2022
The first units have rolled off the assembly lines at Sinoboom’s new factory in Poland.
Having been delivered to Sinoboom BV’s facilties in Ridderkerk, near Rotterdam, the Netherlands, during the week commencing 30 May, the electric scissor lifts will be put through the customary PDI, before heading out to customers in the very near future.
The proximity of the new facility in Poznań, western Poland, to Sinoboom’s European subsidiary represents a significant milestone in Sinoboom’s global strategy to provide high-quality products and services with a localised focus, said the company.
The factory occupies an area of 20,000 square metres and features cutting-edge, fully automated assembly lines. The products to be produced at the facility include electric slab and rough terrain scissor lifts, articulating and telescopic boom lifts, and other MEWP products to meet market demand.
The facility has an annual production capacity of 20,000 units.
Tim Whiteman, CEO of Sinoboom BV, said it will enable a much more agile service in meeting demand in Europe and other regions. “This demonstrates the determination and commitment of the Sinoboom group to become a permanent and integrated part of the European market. We have many more exciting developments on the way, contact us for an update.”
