New diesel-driven sewage pump from BBA Pumps

BBA Pumps has launched the new BA200KS mobile sewage pump and said that it will fill the capacity gap between existing units and complete its KS range.

The company said the 8-inch pump features a range of enhancements, including a robust sound-attenuated canopy, low fuel consumption, and user-friendly design elements.

It operates with a Perkins diesel engine that meets Stage V emission requirements, providing a clean and economical drive, and delivers a capacity of up to 900 m³/hour and handles solids up to 130mm in size.

The BA200KS is housed in a sound-attenuated canopy, which offers a certified sound level of LPA 70 dB(A) at 10m. It also features a rotatable flange elbow for the roof discharge pipe, ensuring flexibility during installation.

The canopy has eight lockable doors for easy access to all components, a hot-dip galvanised steel frame for durability, and large internal fuel and DEF tanks.

Additionally, the unit is fully bunded to prevent fuel or oil spills and includes an external fuel tank connection for added convenience.

The pump’s automatic level control system uses floats to turn the pump on or off based on liquid levels in the sewer. For added efficiency, an optional pressure sensor can regulate the pump’s speed, further optimizing energy use.

Other features of the BA200KS include a ductile iron pump casing and a screw channel impeller capable of handling dirt particles and long-fibrous materials. 

BBA Pumps said it is also working on an electrically driven version of the BA200KS, featuring the same 8-inch pump and sound-attenuated canopy, but powered by an electric drive.
