The Communauté des Acteurs du Matériel Durable (CAMD), the not-for-profit organisation that aims to make the construction sector more sustainable and drive the energy transition, has appointed Audrey Miclard as corporate secretary.

Miclard has more than 12 years experience in sustainability and has been the sustainable development director for Kiloutou since 2021.

The Group said she will support the chairman and vice-chairmen in structuring and leading the association, while also playing a key role in coordinating between the CAMD bodies.

She will be responsible for acting as a key link between the various CAMD bodies, ensuring effective coordination of work and studies while facilitating the sharing of results.

She will also play a role in fostering collaboration among members by encouraging active participation in the network, particularly through the Sustainable Equipment Meetings, a biannual event established in 2021.

In addition to strengthening internal engagement, Miclard will focus on expanding CAMD’s reach by recruiting new members and broadening the circle of participating companies.

Miclard will also manage relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with trade federations, and represent CAMD at major industry events to enhance its presence and influence in the sector.

Commenting on her appointment, Miclard said, “I am delighted to contribute to the success of the association. I remain convinced that it is together that we will find the solutions to contribute effectively to the decarbonisation of construction sites.”

Launched in 2024, CAMD comprises of companies from construction, rental and contracting industries respectively, including Kiloutou, Bouygues Construction, Colas, Eiffage, Haulotte and JCB.

Among its aims is to collaborate with the construction industry’s trade federations to accelerate the environmental transformation of the construction equipment industry.

The CAMD said it intends to build on its momentum in the last 12 months in 2025 by continuing to organise meetings for the equipment sector. It said its two major challenges are to “expand the community with the arrival of a new family of players, the energy companies,” and to “enhance the role of the CAMD in the regions.”

The next Sustainable Equipment Meetings is scheduled for 27 May.
