IRC conference: how to ‘de-risk’ your rental business
01 July 2015
Attendees at the third International Rental Conference (IRC) in Beijing on 21 September will hear from a pioneer of the Indian equipment rental scene on how to grow securely in a challenging, emerging rental market.
Vivek Soni, co-CEO of Gemini Equipment & Rentals, will look at the tools available to rental companies who are growing in new markets, including techniques to de-risk a business, to enforce contracts, and add distribution activities. He will also look at the particular challenges and potential of the Indian rental market.
”Globally, predictability of cash flows, contract tenure and ability to enforce contracts form a very important part of the environment that rental businesses need to grow and thrive”, said Mr Soni.
“Emerging markets like India are exciting but challenging places. Diversification of the customer base is important, because a singular focus on cyclical segments like mining and construction can prove to be risky.”
The conference, organised by KHL and International Rental News (IRN), takes place in Beijing on Monday 21 September, the day before the BICES construction equipment exhibition. BICES is China’s major construction event this year.
