New advance for Ammann lance rollers

Ammann has launched a new control system for its ARW 65-S lance roller, which enables multidirectional movements, allowing the machine to move forward, backward and laterally.

The S version of the roller has a rotating mechanism that allows movements in all directions, unlike the previous version, which only allowed forward and backward movement.

In the S version, the machine can also be moved to the right or left using the guide lever.

A notable feature is the ease of lateral movement without requiring the weight of the operator’s body, an improvement that not only eliminates operator fatigue, but also ensures a uniform surface and constant consistency throughout the entire work day.

“Thanks to the control on the sides, the operation of the machine is much simpler and more precise,” says Ralf Brutschin, strategic commercial manager for light machines at Ammann. “Control results in increased productivity, effectiveness and quality,” he adds.

The hydraulic drum pin allows forward or reverse movements during rolling, with the drum rotating 15 degrees left and right. The operator can easily control the direction using two buttons on the control unit.

In addition, the shorter guide arm contributes to making the machine more compact, improving handling and facilitating transport.
