Paclite finds bigger home close to Paris
24 June 2024
Light equipment supplier Paclite Equipment has moved into a new, larger manufacturing, logistics, and after sales service hub in Aisne, north east of Paris.
The facility, which Paclite has purchased, consolidates its activities at a single location comprising 7,500 m² of space across three buildings, including a manufacturing plant, showroom and office. The company was previously headquartered at Bonneuil sur Marne, east of Paris.
Paclite, which makes equipment including rammers, compaction rollers and plates, concreting equipment, pumps and mini dumpers, is the European brand of Singapore-based Uni-Corp.
Kent Gorsum, managing director of Paclite, told IRN that the new facility would give it “the space and infrastructure needed to further develop our activities. The benefits include the ability to host discussions, test products, and create a foundation for future growth.”
Its location – an hour from Paris and 15 minutes from the A1 motorway - offers good links throughout France and Europe, said Gorsun, “allowing us to reach any destination within a few days and most places in France within a day.” Paclite sells in 45 countries around the world.
The facility has been up and running for several months, but it will take a further six months to install laser welding equipment, paint shops and CNC machines.
In separate news, Paclite has signed an exclusive distributor agreement with Huntraco, Caterpillar dealer in Hungary. Paclite is already an allied vendor for Cat’s dealer rental activities in Europe.
