Himoinsa appoints service director

Himoinsa has appointed Manuel Aguilera as its new global service director.

Aguilera, who takes up the position in June, has been with the company since 2011, during which he has held a number of roles, including cogeneration sales manager, gas product/sales manager and most recently global gas unit head.

Alongside his role with the Spain-based generator and lighting tower manufacturer, he is also a member of the board at CETENMA.

In his new role, will be tasked with strengthening the service, spare parts and after sales divisions, which are “key elements” in the company’s expansion plans following the recent growth it has experienced in terms of organisational structure, turnover and new product development.

Last year Himoinsa’s turnover increased by 21.3% compared 2022, which in turn was 55% higher than that of the previous year.

Himoinsa said the appointment is intended to strengthen a key area to ensure that the company can continue to grow and offer clients a 360º service.

Commenting on his appointment, Aguilera said, “It is an honour to be entrusted with the global leadership of such an important division as Service, whose mission is to provide comprehensive support to ensure customer satisfaction.

“We will work in a coordinated way with the entire Himoinsa team, including all our subsidiaries and production centres, to align our growth strategy and all the available resources.”

Francisco Gracia, president and CEO of Himoinsa added that his experience in the power generation sector will be of benefit to customers; “This has allowed him to gain a complete 360º view not only of our organisational structure, but also of the real needs of our clients.”
