MCS update to “streamline the picking process”

Rental software company MCS Rental Software has added a new picking feature and said that it will “transform how rental businesses handle picking tasks.”

The company said that while the traditional method undertaken when an item wasn’t available for picking would involve manually change the contract, create a new picking list, and then pick the item again, its update enables a more streamlines approach.

With MCS Rental Software, you can now substitute or add an item, and the contract is automatically updated, saving time and eliminating errors.

Nick Thomson, sales director, said, “This feature will save our clients significant time and effort. With more accurate product lines on contracts and at check-out, rental businesses now have an accurate view of inventory at the branch. They know which assets are going out on rental and which assets should be returning.”

Thomson added that improved visibility and clarity on which assets have been picked for a contract mean paperwork stays up-to-date, and everyone – from branch managers to back-office staff and even customers - stays informed.

“This new feature in our Picking solution is a game-changer in more ways than one. It not only saves time for rental companies but also improves communication and documentation with clients. MCS customers are finding this simple change to be a huge step forward,” he said.
