Jyske Bank Boxen, the major exhibition centre and sports arena in Denmark, underwent renovations to it façade in the third quarter of last year. The façade slants, therefore the use of scaffolding was not possible.

Local rental company Horsens Liftudlejning, owned by Esben Jensen, investment in a 19m working height Falcon Spider FS 330Z on tracks, to carry out the work. The Falcon was craned up on to the roof of Boxen from where the façade renovation could take place.

“The Falcon made it possible for us to reach the slanting façade,” Jensen said, “and due to the compact design of the Falcon it was possible to set up very close to the façade.”

Horsens Liftudlejning has around 300 different units of varying types of lifting equipment in its fleet, but this is the first Falcon.

“I am very happy with my investment,” Jensen continued, “after ending the renovation at Boxen, I am sure that especially churches will ask for the it - it is very useful for church liming, as the outriggers can be set individually on the small grave paths without destroying them.”
