APEX Asia 2023 opens in Shanghai

The 2023 APEX Asia show opened today at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) in Pudong, Shanghai.

Taking place alongside material handling show CeMAT Asia from 24 to 27 October, the APEX Asia aerial platform exhibition is the largest gathering of powered access equipment and suppliers in Asia this year.

As well as exhibits from around 60 companies, the third edition of the show will provide visitors with an overview of the current access market in China as well as the wider Asian market. 

The show comes at a time when the access industry in Asia is seeing significant growth, with an estimated 600,000 aerial platforms now in operation in China alone. 

Exhibitors at APEX Asia, which was first held in 2017, include LGMG, Skyjack, Haulotte, Jovoo Industries, Roshow, Trojan, Dingli and Mantall.

Visitors to APEX Asia have been granted free access to CeMat Asia, which is also taking place from 24 to 27 October. CeMat visitors will also be able to move between shows.

Meanwhile, the International Rental Conference took place on the 23 October, with the challenges facing AWP rental businesses and the future potential of the market both explored.
