Maltech invests in Socages

Swiss rental major Maltech took delivery of seven Socage 20m truck mounts at the end of June 2024 .

After a factory visit to Socage, extensive preliminary and equipment testing, the contract for the seven self-drive forste 20D Speed models was signed  in autumn 2023 with Maltech.

According to Socage, simplicity of operation, combined with the 20D Speed’s range of features was decisive in the deal. 

The 20m double articulated boom lift is mounted on a 5 tonne Iveco Daily chassis, combined with narrow vertical jacking, a 300kg basket load working and oureach of 8.7m, offering a 9m up and over height. 

Standard features of the Socage Speed Series includes automatic stabalisation, home function, error diagnostics and a telemetric function. 

Via the Mysocage portal, Maltech also has access to manuals, spare parts and service requests. The device status, as well as alarms and error messages are shown online using a simple graphic display.

GPS location, geofencing and calendar functions, as well as remote queries and maintenance via the service, complete the package.

At delivery, technicians at Maltech’s eight service centres, which complement it’s 40 branches, received intensive theoretical and practical training on the units in a two-day session through Socage Customer Service.
