Multitel investment aids two-fold growth for F.I.M.

A young Italian rental company F.I.M. Noleggi has purchased a 27m truck mount from Multitel Pagliero, as the company expands twofold since 2022. 

Since 2022 to date, Multitel Pagliero has delivered three MTE270EX telescopic platforms and seven MX200 articulated platforms to F.I.M, with 27m and 20m working height. The new MJ450 meets the growing demand in the industrial and carpentry sectors.

The company, founded by Vincenzo Basilicata and run with his children Fabio, Irene and Monica, said it was seeing a very positive period with an increase in customers for its fleet of 263 lifting and earthmoving machines, up from 130 in 2022.

F.I.M. has also expanded its premises with an additional building. While the core business remains concentrated between the province of Novara and the Milanese hinterland, the number of customers in northern and central Italy is also growing. Therefore, it cannot be ruled out that a second 45-metre platform may be purchased in the near future, said the company. 

The MJ450 telescopic platform purchased for hire with an operator is on a 32-tonne, four-axle truck (there is also a 26-tonne truck set-up), has a working height of 45m and is equipped with a 1500kg winch to be placed on the basket.

The maximum horizontal outreach of 33.8m gives a load capacity for the platform of 120kg, rising to 300kg at 31.80m outreach and 500kg at 28.20m.

The turret’s 360° continuous rotation, the self-levelling platform with 90° + 90° rotation and extendable jib enable the operator to get around any obstacles in the work area.
