Off road pick up expands Klubb range
23 September 2016
Klubb has developed an articulated platform mounted on a Renault Alaskan rough terrain pick-up. The Kat 42 is being launched at the IAA commercial vehicle show in Hanover, Germany, in partnership with Renault.
With a working height of 13.8m and an outreach of 6.4m, the Kat 42 has been combined with the Alaskan’s off-road capabilities to operate in extreme environments which are difficult to access.
Its aluminium telescopic section is designed for stability and the conveyor chain and the extension cylinders are protected for improved durability. In addition, its entirely hydraulic operation means easy maintenance throughout the world, said the company.
“We are very proud of this new, innovative product, developed in association with Renault. The KAT 42 combines safety, robustness and agility to meet the needs of professionals working at heights who are required to intervene in extreme locations throughout the world,” said Julien Bourrellis, president of Klubb.
