Utility aerial platform manufacturer Klubb Group has achieved ISO 14001 certification for its commitment to environmental management, following an audit conducted by CSR Europe earlier this year.

CSR Europe is a leading European business network for corporate sustainability and responsibility that works with companies towards to progress their sustainable development strategies.

According to France-based Klubb, the ISO certification acknowledges its continued efforts to use reduce the environmental impact of its operations and products.

The company introduced its first hybrid products way back in 2005, and since 2010 has been developing platforms for 100% electric vehicles.

In addition to recruiting employees local to its branches to help limit the pollution from transport, Klubb said, “In order to combine responsiveness and respect for the environment, 90% of Klubb’s suppliers are based in Europe, 70% of which are in France.”

This latest certification comes just months after Klubb was awarded the Positive Workplace CSR label.

“We have defined a trajectory for reducing CO2 emissions aligned with the objectives of COP21. Many new initiatives are underway with the support of our suppliers, employees and customers.”
