Representatives of Kenbri Fire Fighting and IJsselland Safety Region agree deal for three new specialist Bronto Skylift platforms.

Kenbri Fire Fighting, distributor for Bronto Skylift in the Netherlands, has won a contract to provide three new fire-fighting aerial platforms to the emergency services provider in the country’s IJsselland region.

IJsselland Safety Region – the organisation responsible for delivering fire services, crisis management, disaster relief and medical assistance for accidents and disasters – issued the public tender for the supply and maintenance of the new equipment as part of its fleet renewal programme.

The deal signed by Kenbri will see the distributor deliver three new 32-metre Bronto F32RPX aerial platforms, mounted on Scania P320 6x2/4 chassis.

The chassis, which will be built at Scania’s Netherlands facility in the city of Zwolle, will be sent to Bronto Skylift’s plant in Finland in April 2021.

The aerial platform manufacturer said that it expects the completed fire-fighting aerial platforms to be delivered to the IJsselland Fire Service, part of the IJsselland Safety Region organisation, in early 2022.

The new Bronto platforms will be stationed at three of the fire service’s 35 stations, which provide emergency services to more than 500,000 residents across 11 municipalities.
